The surface of the steel is chemically stabilised and wearing the piece helps to seal the surface with skin oils. So long as the piece is dried after wetting, it should require no care other than that given to jewellery made wholly from precious materials.
Wipe it down occassionally with a soft cloth. Clean it with bicarbonate of soda on a damp brush. Keep the piece in a damp-proof place. It is probably better to keep it away from other jewellery as the steel is tough and can scratch more usual jewellery metals.
