One of the few pieces I have revisited over the years, this is the final - absolutely final - version of this piece, based on a mediaeval battle-mace. A hollow silver ball, slightly larger than a table-tennis ball, over which it was made, studded with 9ct gold spikes, hangs from a handmade silver chain, fitted with two stops to allow the piece to be worn in two differing configurations.
